Camping
There are now 154 renovated campsites in Gulf State Park. These sites have 50-amp service, sewer, and water hook-ups. The camping pads have been freshly paved with larger lots for RV’s with pullouts.
Due to flooding caused by Hurricane Ivan, significant renovations are in the works and the campgrounds are not yet back up to full capacity. Because of this, the campgrounds are currently taking reservations on a limited basis.
Cabins
The park has 20 modern cabins next to the golf course and just 2 ½ miles from the beaches. These cabins are surrounded by the longleaf pine and palmetto forest of the coastal Alabama region.
Gulf State Park also offers eleven new cottages along the northern shore of Lake Shelby. For more information about the cabins and cottages Gulf State Park has to offer, check here!
