Captain Doug Adams has years experience fishing the local area, meaning he has plenty of knowledge and patience when teaching people the techniques he has learned over the years.
As a young boy, in the fall and winter months, I started fishing the Atlantic Ocean, Chesapeake Bay, and the rivers and lakes in the Mid-Atlantic Region for Rock Fish, Bass, Pike, Musky, and Big Cat Fish. I spent my summer days here in the Pensacola area fishing all of the bays, tributaries, intercoastal waterways, and the Gulf of Mexico. From Mobile Bay, Alabama, to the “Big Bend” area of the Panhandle of Florida.
Over the years, I learned a lot about fishing in Pensacola from local watermen and guides as well as generations of friends and family in Pensacola and Perdido Key areas. In 1999, I relocated here in Pensacola and, to me, this is home. I always wanted to live in this same small community where my family grew up. So I made that happen.
My passion for the water and fishing has taken me to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, Lake Guntersville in Alabama, Beech Bend in Kentucky, Lake Fork in Texas, and the Mighty Mississippi River in Louisiana.

Doug was a great host on our deep sea fishing trip. Today was my first time deep sea fishing, and he made sure I caught several fish by giving me an extra hook and a lot of bait (I'm sure he'd do the same for a kid!). He was great to talk to and very good at what he does - fish!
